A 5 day course, specialising in techniques for those working within UK based Police forces or Prison services. Please note: The date shown is likely to be the dates but the location has not been confirmed. Please only pencil the date in.
This course is a basic level Krav Maga course aimed at personnel who are currently employed as police officer safety instructors or prison staff safety instructors. We are also accepting officers who are not instructors in both areas but who work in environments where they feel Krav Maga could benefit them as an adittion to their current training.
The course is open to all Police or Prison officers around the UK & Republic of Ireland. All applicants should contact us ASAP. Those who are existing officer safety instructors at the time of starting the course, will also receive a basic Krav Maga Law Enforcement instructor certification in this subject, from the International Kav Maga Federation on completion .
The course will give the participants knowledge of basic Law Enforcement (L.E) Krav Maga techniques, which often means use of non lethal force to detain or arrest suspects who are caught breaking the law. The course offers additional skills to those already used by the participants and is not intended to qualify them, to use or teach the techniques outside of their job specification/role.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a full L.E. instructor qualification course as is offered to existing IKMF instructors. The course has been design as a bespoke short course to enhance existion skills.
The course will cover subjects such as: working in and around vehicles, extraction techniques, disarming of certain weapon types, stress drills in confined spaces, night training and tactical team work.
Techniques learnt during this course could ultimately save an officers life when operating alone or protect colleagues in situations where officers may be out numbered whilst waiting for assistance.
The cost per person is £500.00 for the full 5 days training.
